M.O.O Nwamu is a Consultant to the Firm. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1973 and has been in active legal practice since his exit as Legal Adviser and Company Secretary to erstwhile Bendel Property Development Authority (B.D.P.A). He has rendered legal services to both National and Multinational Corporations. His contribution to the legal profession in Nigeria earned him life membership status of the Body of Benchers. He is also a member of the Legal Practitioners' Disciplinary Committee in Nigeria.

Michael Uwaechie is a Consultant to the Firm. Michael obtained his LL.B degree from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma with a Second Class (Hons.) Upper Division. He has been called to the Nigerian and New York Bars and is a member of the New York State and American Bar Association. He is a Harvard trained corporate governance and risk management specialist. He obtained his Master’s degree in Banking, Corporate and Finance Law from Fordham University Law School, New York where he graduated with distinction, “Magna cum Laude.” He was a Notes Editor of the prestigious Fordham Corporate and Finance Law Journal.

Ikechukwu has a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Abia State University, Nigeria; a Master’s degree in Law from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State and a Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management from the Pan Atlantic University, Lagos. He is a Member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Commonwealth Lawyers Association, International Bar Association, Nigerian Institute of Management, Chartered Institute of Taxation, Chartered Institute of Mediators and Conciliators and Association of Outsourcing Practitioners of Nigeria. Ikechukwu is also a member of the National Editorial Board of the Nigerian Bar Association and a Notary Public of Nigeria.

Michael is the founding Partner of the firm. He started his legal career with Templars Barristers and Solicitors, a leading International Law Firm in Nigeria. Thereafter, he had a stint with the Interim Management Team of the Central Bank of Nigeria and Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation in winding up the activities of Gulf Bank of Nigeria Plc and Allstates Trust Bank Plc. He started his Banking career as a Legal Officer in the Legal and Company Secretariat Department of Zenith Bank Plc. Then, he moved to Primera Africa Finance Group Limited to head its Legal and Compliance Department. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Law from Delta State University and his Master’s degree in Law from University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He has vast experience in corporate and commercial transactions, labour and employment matters, property law, security documentation, loan syndication, capital market dynamics, company secretarial issues as well as regulatory and compliance concerns.

Laurel is a Partner in the firm and provides particular support to the firm’s Oil and Gas practice. Her expertise in Oil and Gas Law and Arbitration is underpinned by her experience in advising upstream and downstream oil and gas companies on diverse transactions and disputes. In addition to her practical experience, Laurel has received specialized academic training in petroleum law, policy and business management. Laurel practiced in Carnice Chamber,Abuja before proceeding for her postgraduate courses in the UK, after which she joined the Firm. She also heads the Firm's Corporate Secretariat

Rosemary is the Practice Manager of the Firm. She graduated from Delta State University, where she obtained her L.L.B degree with a Second Class (Hons.) Upper Division. She has been called to the Nigerian Bar and privileged to work. She has been privileged to work with such notable personalities in the legal profession as J.K Gadzama SAN, Rickey Tarfa SAN, and Kola Awodein SAN. While at J.K Gadzama & Partners as well as Rickey Tarfa & Co., she sharpened her skills in litigation practice and later joined Kola Awodein & Co. to garner tremendous experience in corporate commercial law practice.
